GERMANY/DENMARK History - Danish Brigade Radio in Germany, 1945-1949,
DANISH Army Brigade Bremerhaven 1945 - 1949.
In the QSL reports to Swedish bulletins in 1948 there is no word about the
location of the station. Nor about the address used by reporters.
Presumably they used just "FOVA, Den danske brigade i Tyskland" or "FOVA,
Det danske kommando i Tyskland" which is what obliterations and stationery
on some postal items suggest, for instance

Items 16393 and 16404 were mailed from the Brigade in Germany to Denmark
with Danish postage stamps affixed, the first item carrying a clearly
legible postal mark. This would explain the lack of detail as to the
station QTH. Listeners didn't actually know from where the transmissions
came. Google mentions several places of deployment, among them Jever and
Aurich, both in Friesland, but so far I haven't found anything related to
a shortwave station operated by F.O.V.A., Folk og Vaern (People and
Defence).
We discussed that Danish brigade item in NZL DX League magazine already
some month ago in German DX Club WWDXC. I brought that item to attention
of Anker in Denmark and sent him a copy. In his kind replay he told me,
that the brigade was located at Bremerhaven, on the North Sea coastline in
Lower-Saxonia and explained troops left - then - still occupied Germany
soon in May 1949?
Google has that item K. V. Nielsens "Den Danske Brigade / Det Danske
Kommando i Tyskland 1947-1958".
page 19 of

mentions 45.000 to 60.000 soldier staff at war end 1945.
It was a like AFRTS/BFBN service for the troops there. Even in Denmark
less history information kept on this service.
Unfortunately the correspondence with Anker deleted already on my PC, but
sure Anker will answer soon on this matter again.
Our Board member Kurt Ae. Pedersen mentioned the station in the 50 years
Jubilee Publication of the DSWCI in 2006 and besides quoting Henrik
Klemetz, he has this information from another Danish DX-er Knud Eriksen
who is also still an active member in our club:
