too? 171 was poor in noise so difficult to compare. 7345 was much weaker
than 7200, and I don't know what I could hear on 7140. I couldn't trace
Magadan 7320 - you don't mention it (only on 5935?) so I wonder if it's
still used.
If I remember correctly, regional programmes were not always broadcast on
Sundays - or they were at different times to what was heard weekdays. I
recall 5930 carrying Rossii at 0800 and then a long commercial break
followed by regional news etc. And 7200 also did something similar. I
think there was a similar procedure at 0900 on 7200 too. 6160 has never
been good enough, often enough, to obtain very much detail, and 6085 is
impossible for me.
If conditions are the same tomorrow I'll check again at 0800 and see what
happens.
I was very surprised to hear VoR via listed Vladivostok at around 0830 UT
today on 6005 kHz - not very strongly, and in local noise, but // weak
7330 and 9550 kHz and also loud 1323. I'm assuming these signals come
short path, and probably via the grey line at that time - same as 7200
etc..?
Log Tue Jan 15th. only positive I can report is a rather surprising signal
of Yakutsk on 7200 kHz in 0745 to 0830 UT slot, in peaks up to S=8 signal.
But when checked around 0900 UT again it was very weak at S=1-2 level. But
was not in // with Radio Rossii Moscow 12075 powerhouse progr, which had a
lot of phone-in Babushka's (mamas women) comments which complaints about
problems [everydays life] in Russian Siberia.
7200 had a special time zone version program with many FRENCH CHANSONS
songs all over the 8-9 UT hour. 6160 had a very carrier at 0820 UT.
But at 0900-0930 UT slot noted
Magadan 5920 5940 7320 - nothing, carrier neither.
Monchegorsk 5930 6160 - nothing, carrier neither.
Yakutsk 6060 7140 - nothing, carrier neither.
7200 and 7345 weak carrier under threshold.
(wb, wwdxc BC-DX Jan 15)
5930 seems to have been off today. 6160 noted with LOCAL programming at
1040 UT.
[later] At 1115 UT there is a weak signal in Russian on 5930 kHz with a
programme different from 12075 kHz, but that must be Vladivostok.
(Olle Alm-SWE, wwdxc BC-DX Jan 15)
Today I noted Yakutsk 7200 kHz signing on at approx. 0750 UT. 7345 was
very weak. When 5930 faded in at full daytime strength just after 0800 UT
it had strong spurs at +/- 5 kHz and weak spurs at +/- 10 kHz. At 0815 UT
it went off briefly and the 5 kHz spurs seemed to be somewhat reduced
after that, but still quite strong. 6160 was silent, and most likely on
maintenance, as was Kaliningrad 171.
The weak signal on 171 was probably R Free Checheniya. On 873 I had the
Moscow transmitter behind St Petersburg and with the 3 sec delay between
these two this makes a very unsynchronized network. Petrozavodsk 765 kHz
was also in at 0800 UT.
Russische Nordmeerstationen.
Radio Rossii 7200 kHz. Auf 7200 kHz ist am 16.1. um 0800 UTC Radio Rossii
mit ID und Nx zu hoeren. 24332.
