DENMARK 5815 Back in Denmark - I can tell you that the transmissions
from Ilskov at Karup on 5815 kHz have come to an end due to illness. The
absolute last broadcast from here was June 15. I don't know yet if the
transmitter will be relocated to another place in Denmark or sold abroad.

ETHIOPIA QSL R. Fana, full-data QSL rcvd by Registered Ethiopian Mail;
I sent the rpt on June 1 and had the reply by July 18. A nice card that
came in an envelope with great Rhino stamps. The back of the envelope
carries a stamp imprint with the words "Radio Fana Share Company Archives
and Record Service." The envelope alone is worth the price of admission.

Abkhazia/Apsua, weak-fair but channel clear, 0425 July 17 tune-in to vocal
selections, 0430, man in RS, then, briefly, woman, but returned to man who
continued talking, maybe political cmtry or nx. Steadily weakening to 0443
fade. Have been trying for this one for a long time and finally the "stars
all aligned!"

GERMANY AFN 1143 Wuerzburg switched OFF now. Probably the run of AFN
radio in Wuerzburg now really came to an end on Tuesday, July 15, when the
transmitters on both 1143 and 104.9 left the air. So far nobody reported
that either signal returned, and so I dare to assume after three days that
