Starting Febr 29, K<strong>BC</strong>'s broadcast to Europe at 2130-2229 UTC will move<br />

from 6265 kHz to 6140 (not6055) kHz.<br />

Starting March 9, K<strong>BC</strong>'s broadcast to America at 0100-0159 UTC will move<br />

from 6255 kHz to 6<strong>04</strong>0 kHz.<br />

We will inform you about the complete story soon ...<br />

[later] Just received from Eric: "K<strong>BC</strong>'s 2130-2229 will be on 6140 kHz<br />

[and not on 6055 kHz as previous mentioned]. Unfortunately we will have to<br />

live with R. Moscow on adjacent channel 6145 kHz. At the moment we could<br />

not find a better solution." Eric also said "what can we do, we have to<br />

accept the law in Lithuania!"<br />

Febr 29th: IRIB Spanish via Sitkunai 2030-2127 UT 55555 S=9+30 dB powerful<br />

signal. // 7130 strong; and also on weak terrible 7350 kHz mess channel,<br />

IRN/CHN French hit each other.<br />

Indeed 6140 is very bad, due of RUS 6145. But I see 3 channels in 49/50 mb<br />

to look at: 6170, 6195 left by B<strong>BC</strong>-UK recently - only weak Far East B<strong>BC</strong><br />

noted; and 5925 too, adjacent Samara 5920 is weak and no harm 5925.<br />

must have happened: A withdrawal of all frequency allocations in the
