RUSSIA Re: Yakutsk. "Yakutsk 6060, 7140 - nothing, carrier neither.
7200 and 7345 weak carrier under threshold..."
Wolfgang, please note in WRTH 2008 that 6060 kHz is the summer frequency
for Yakutsk. I could confirm winter frequency 6150 kHz on the air on
Tuesday at 0830 before KNLS came to the frequency. Also 7140 kHz was
heard. 7200 kHz is good again now that the transmitter has been fixed.
SLOVAK REP. Almost all MW transmitters left the band. Since Jan 20, 2008
there are only three active MW transmitters in Slovakia:
702 kHz - Presov 100 kW
1017 kHz - Rimavska Sobota 50 kW
1098 kHz - Nitra 50 kW (F. Pl. 100 kW)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 0700-1700, Sat 0600-1800, Sun 0600-1900 UT.
Program: Patria (for national minorities)
A swift decision made by the Slovak government in Jan, ceased operation of
the following transmitters:
567 kHz Rimavska Sobota
567 kHz Zilina
621 kHz Horna Lehota (Orava)
864 kHz Cadca
864 kHz Snina
900 kHz Velky Slavkov (Tatry)
927 kHz Cizatice
1017 kHz Bratislava
1035 kHz Banska Bystrica
(Karel Honzik-CZE, MWC Jan 21, via dxld)
But 1098 is off after 1700/1800/1900 UT now, so it's no surprise I did not
hear it... It appears that the Regina relays on mediumwave ceased already
on Jan 7:
