Since the Sun Eclipse on August, 11th 1999 in the DX prgrs of Radio Bulgaria in Ge, Fr and Sp there are special prgrs intended to all eclipses till the now on August, the 1st 2008, featuring the observations during the dark time of the eclipse. Only two people had interest of it: Mr. W. Bueschel and Mr. Joseph Klein from Voorburg, The Netherlands in the history of the theme. The latest eclipse on August the 1st 2008 in Sofia was with 10.5% covering - too low to getting some results. At 0945 UT 9625 kHz CBC Canada, at 1015 UT WYFR on 9460 from Irkutsk with SIO=555, at 1050 UT 7385 from China, at 1115 UT 4830 and 4895 presumed from Mongolia etc. During the full or almost fully eclipse man may catch the stations which are never to hear - mainly on MW and tropical bands plus 49 and 41 m.b. Hallo zusammen, da von den Berliner Hobbyfreunden bislang niemand ein DX-Treffen zur diesjaehrigen Internationalen Funkausstellung organisiert hat, habe ich das nun - obwohl nicht mehr staendig vor Ort - in die Hand genommen. Ich habe im Cafe Gang & Gaebe, Helgolaender Ufer 7, 10557 Berlin, fuer uns reserviert. Das ist der gleiche Treffpunkt wie im vergangenen Jahr. Wir treffen uns am Samstag, 30. August 2008, nach Messeschluss, also ab etwa 18.30/19.00 Uhr mit Open End. Ich mache nun erstmal in den Mailing Listen von Christoph Ratzer, im Wellenforum und Radioforum Werbung fuer das Treffen, schreibe aber auch noch einige deutschsprachige Auslandsdienste an, so dass moeglichst viele Hobbyfreunde von dem Termin erfahren.
