TITLE:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH GOLD
TYPE BUSINESS MACIDNES, INC FOR E-TICKETING
PRODUCTS AND SERVICES UNDER STATE CONTRACT
WITHOUT PUBLIC BIDDING
COUNCIL OFFERED AN MOVED ADOPTION OF THE
FOLLOWIG RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, electronic ticketing ("e-ticketing") for trafc violations can increase
the accuracy of sumonses issued and reduce the time required to issue
sumonses; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to implement e-tícketing in the Police Deparent
(JCPD) in a maner that interfaces searlessly with its INFO COP softare and
which interfaces with the NJ Administrative Offce of the Cours (AOC); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A 40A:ll-l2
allowing municipalities to use state contract without public bidding; and
WHREAS, Gold Type Business Machines, Inc being in possession of state
contract number A69834 for e-ticketing products and services; and
WHEREAS, Gold Type Business Machines, Inc's e-ticketing products and
servces interface searlessly with the JCPD's INOCOP softare and the NJ
Administrative Office of the Cours (AOC); and
WHEREAS, the City Purchasing Agent has certified that he considers said
proposal to be fair and reasonable; and
WHREAS, e-ticketingwill be fuded via a per tícket fee paid quarerly with no
upfront capital expenses; and
WHEREAS, this award of contract is contingent upon sufficient fuds being
appropriated in the CY2011 temporary and permanent budgets in the following
account:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Muncipal Council of the
City of Jersey City that:
L The Mayor and/or Business Administrator be authorized to execute a
contract with Gold Type Business Machines, Inc.
