1. The closeout of a grant is the process by which. OHSP determes that ai applicable
admitrative actions and all required work of the grant haye been completed by the
Sub grantee.
2. Date of completion refers' to the date when ai activities under the grant are completed or the
expiration date in the award document, ,or any supplement or amendment thereto.
B. OHSP may pert extensions when requested in writing by the Subgrantee.
C. The Subgrantee wil together with the submission of the fialreport, refud to OHSP any unexpected
fuds or unobligated (unencumbered) cash advanced, except such sums that have been otherwise
authoried in writing by OHSP to be retained.
D. Upon fial payment the Subgrantee wilprovide OHSP a full r~lease contajned in a letter indicating
the following.
"(The Sub grantee ) hereby releases New Jersey, the Director 0 fHomeland Security and Preparedness,
and agents, fromclaii and liabilty for work done and servces performed under thi agreeent. We
have completed our approved work plan and have met all ofthe requirements stipulated under our
agreement with the OHSP."
E. In the event an audit has not been performed prior to the close out of the grant, OHSP retain the
right to recover any disallowable costs identified in the fial audit report.
The effective date of thi agreement shall be , 2010, and it shall expire at midnight
