SHARED SERVICES AGREEMENT
. This Agreement. is made as of the day of
2011 between the CITY OF JERSEY CITY ("Jersey City" or "the City"), a

Whereas, the- State Uniform Shared Services, and Consolidation

40A:65-1.et seq;, was enacted to effectuate agreements between local units for
any service or Circumstance intended. to reduce propert taxes through _ the

Whereas, under the act, a local unit has been defined to include a school district
. pursuant to N.J.S.Ä. 18A: 18A-2and covers agreements seeking to provide or
. receive any. service that each local unit particip,ating in the agreement is
empowered to provide or receive within its own jurisdiction;
Whereas, the City, through its departments, provides .various services to the
School District; -and
Whereas, the parties desire to enter into an agreement where the School District
shaH provide food services for the co.ncession stand located at the City's at 395
Johnston Avenue, and the City shall maintain the concession station, including
repairs;
Whereas, no paymeritwil be exchanged and considerationsiiall be the in-kind
services to be provided by the District and the City; and
Whereas, the Jersey City Board of Educàtion adopted resolution 10. at its
, 2011 meeting, approving entiy into. the within Shared Services
Agreement; and .
Now, therefore, in consideration of the promises and the mutual covenants,
agreements, terms and conditions set forth in this agreement and in the
ResohJtion, as well as the undertakings of each party to the
other, the parties
