RESOLUTION AUTORIING TH CITY OF JERSEY CITY TO ENTER INTO A COST
REIMUREMENT AGREEMENT WITH TH NORTH JERSEY TRASPORTATION

WlL ENABLE JERSEY CITY TO RECEIV FUING FORFU TASK ORDERS
COUNCIL AS A WHOLE OFFERED AN MOVED ADOPTION OF TH FOLLOWING
RESOLUTON:
WHREAS, each year, the Nort Jersey Trasporttion Plang Authority (NITPA) develops
a Unifed Planing Work Program that includes the.Subregionii Transporttion Planing (STP)
Program; and
WHREAS, the Jersey City Division of City Planing is the designated Subregional
TransporttionPlaning agency for the City of Jersey City; and
WHREAS, the NJTA has approved $71,976.25 for implementation of Fiscal Year 2012 STP
Program; and .
WHREAS, of the fuding available as of July!, 2011, the Federal Highway Authority
(FHW A) contributes $43,185:75, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) contributes
$I4,395.25 and the local match is $14,395.25;

NOW, THREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Municipal Council of the City of Jersey
City that:
1. The City of Jersey City is hereby authoried to enter into a Basic Agreement with the
Nort Jersey Transporttion Planing Authority and New Jersey Institute of Technology; and
2. The Mayor and/or Business Administrtor are authorized to accept this Basic Agreement
and to tae such other steps as may. be necessa to effectuate the purpose of this resolution.
