Accepts grant fuds from NJT A b pay for transporttion planing efforts.
4. Reasons (Need) for the Proposed Program, Project, etc.:
The Subregional Transporttion Planing program fuds transporttiorplaning effort at the
local level that support the NJTA's longrange plan, which guides transporttion investment in
the region.
5. Anticipated Benefits to the Community:
Transporttion improvements ire needed throughout the Gty. The trsporttion planer
paricipates inthe planing effort for.theCity's and region's multi-modal transporttion network,
assists with the management oftansporttion studies, and works closely with staff at the NJTP A
and other transporttion agencies as needed in a maner that is consistent with the Circulation
Element of the City's Master Plan
6. Cost of Proposed Plan, etc.:
$14,395.25. This amount is the 20% local match, which is satisfied by the costofthe
trsporttion planer's fringe benefits.

July 1,2011

June 30, 2012
