RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITI G.T.B.M., INC. FOR PROVIING
MATENANCE AN SUPPORT SERVICES FOR TH POLICE DEPARTMENT'S EXISTING
AUDIO VISUAL SYSTEMS AN DISTRCT DIGITAL SIGNAGE BY G.T~B.M. WITIOUT
PUBLIC BIDDING.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Municipal Council ofIersey City that:
1. A one (1) year contract is awarded to G.T.B.M, Inc in the amount of$98,OOO.OO and the City's
Purchasing Agent is directed to have such a contract drawn up and executed; and
2. This contract is awarded without public bidding pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-5 (1)( dd); and
3. The award ofthis contract shall be subject to the condition that G.T.B.M, Inc provides satisfactory
evidence of compliance with the AffIrmative Action Amendments to the Law Against Discrimination
N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.; and
4. The continuation of the contract after the expenditure of funds encumbered in the 2011 temporary
budget shall be subject to the appropriation of suffcient fuds in the 201 1
year permanent budget; and
5. Upon certification by an offcial or employee of the City authorized to attest that the agreement
has been compiled with in all respects and the requirements of the agreement met, payment to
contractor shall be made in accordance with the provisions of the Local Fiscal Affairs Law, N.J.S.A.
40A:5-1 et seq.
6. The Business Entity Disclosure Certification, Chapter 271 Political Contribution Disclosure
Certifièation, and the Determination of Value Certification attched hereto and incorporated herein
by reference shall be placed on fie with this resolution
