services, etc., in order to carry out thetr assignents and will contract with those service providers
upon .the approval of the City. With the exception of the court reporters, Special Counsel shall
noti the City of their engagement of all third-party service providers and obtain authorization
for those services from the City. The Spècial Counsel wil pay all third-party service ptovid,ers
directly ami wil bil the City for those services detailed disbursements included in monthy
invoices. This City wil not accept separate invoIèes from service providers directly to the City for
payment.
If the Special Cnunsel. receives discounts from messenger services, title agencies,
investigators or other categories of serviceprovi~er; those discounts must be passed on tot he City
and noted on each in voice.
The City does not agree to pay. for the following disbursements unless spedficaiiy
approved in advance for any speèific matter by the City.

secrètaries' overtime, proofreading, placing or organizing documents in fies;
. meals; ...
. . first class air or rail travel, chauffeur driven limousines;
.. hotel accommodations; and
. charges for use of conference rooms or office space.
Should the services of one or more other persons with Special Counsel's firm
be deemed
necessary and approved, th~City expects that an appropriate number of attorneys and paralegals
at all practice levels wil be available for assignent to. its matters so that matters can be handled
in the most efficient manner possible. Further, the City expects that tasks will be performed by the
