RESOLUTION AWARING AN EMERGENCY CONTRACT TO HAMIL-
TON SERVICES, LLC. FOR VARIOUS CONCRETE WORK AT THE
LAFAYETTE POOL COMPLEX FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WORK, DIVSION OF ARCIlECTUR

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Muncipal Council of the City of Jersey
City that:
I. Because of the above stated reasons which are incorporated herein and because of the
reasons stated in the attched certification signed by the Director of the Deparent
of Public Works, the award of an emergency contract to Hamilton Services, LLC.
made pursuant to NJ.S.A. 40A:11-6 to perform corrective concrete work at the
Lafayette Pool Complex is hereby ratified;
2. The City Purchasing Agent is directed to have the necessary contract drawn up and
executed;
3. The Mayor or Business Administrator is hereby authonzed to execute a contract in the
amount of $48,720.00 with Hamlton Services, LLC. to for concrete work at the
Lafayette Pool Complex;
4. The award of this agreement shall be subject to the condition that the contractor
provide satisfactory evidence of compliance with the Affrmative Action amendments
to the Law Against Discnrination, NJ.S.A. 10:5-31 et-seq.; and
5 The Business Entity Disclosure Certification, Chapter 271 Political Contrbution
Disçlosure Certification, Certification of Compliance with the City's Contractor Payto-Play
Reform Ordinance, and the Determnation of Value Certification attched
hereto and incorporated herein by reference shall be placed on file with this resolution.
