7.7 Acquiring Mobile Remote Payment Transactions<br />

7.7.1.2 Merchant and/or Service Manager Requirements: Issuer Domain<br />

Mobile Remote Payment Transactions<br />

Acquirers must ensure that each Merchant and/or Service Manager must:<br />

1. Provide clear instructions on how to obtain a mailing address, and a contact<br />

telephone number or e-mail address, for Cardholder queries resulting from<br />

Issuer Domain Mobile Remote Payment Transactions. This information may<br />

be provided in the confirmation message, but must be readily accessible to<br />

a Cardholder, and remain displayed for at least ninety (90) calendar days<br />

after the last day on which a Transaction was performed;<br />

2. Have the capability to accept PANs between thirteen (13) and nineteen<br />

(19) digits in length;<br />

3. Provide a function for Cardholders to confirm a Mobile Remote Payment<br />

Transaction. This confirmation function must be provided before the sale<br />

has been completed and any charges levied;<br />

4. Provide a confirmation of payment message after the Cardholder confirms<br />

the Mobile Remote Payment Transaction. The confirmation message must<br />

include Transaction date, Transaction amount, Merchant reference, unique<br />

Transaction reference, and contact details for Cardholder inquiries;<br />

5. Ensure that information provided on any electronic acknowledgement of<br />

the Cardholder’s order is in compliance with all other requirements for a<br />

Mobile Remote Payment Transaction receipt. Refer to the Mobile Remote<br />

Payments Program Guide for additional information.<br />

7.7.2 Acquirer Domain Mobile Remote Payment Transactions<br />

Acquirers that offer Acquirer Domain Mobile Remote Payment Transaction<br />

programs to Merchants and Cardholders must register with the Corporation.<br />

Refer to the Mobile Remote Payments Program Guide for additional information.<br />

An Acquirer may use a Service Manager to provide Mobile Remote Payment<br />

Program Service. Acquirers using a Service Manager to participate in a Mobile<br />

Remote Payment Program must register each Service Manager proposed to<br />

provide Mobile Remote Payment Program Service as a Third Party Processor, as<br />

set forth in Rule 14.6 of this rulebook.<br />

The Acquirer must ensure the Service Manager complies with all applicable<br />

Standards, including the branding requirements and the security requirements<br />

and guidelines for Mobile Remote Payments. Refer to the Mobile Remote<br />

Payments Program Guide for additional information.<br />

Acquires must provide implementation and registration for Merchants and<br />

Cardholders or delegate a specific implementation and registration function to<br />

the Service Manager. Refer to the Mobile Remote Payments Program Guide for<br />

additional information.<br />
