9.4.9 Processing Requirements—Recurring Payments<br />

9.5 Processing Requirements<br />

Customers must submit to the Corporation, either directly or indirectly through<br />

their Sponsor, completed IRT and IDF input documents, no later than ten<br />

(10) business days prior to the requested effective date of live processing in<br />

the Corporation, which will be verified against the License Agreement on file<br />

prior to file update.<br />

The Corporation may, at its discretion and upon request from a Principal,<br />

facilitate file updates of IRT and IDF input documents received less than ten<br />

(10) business days prior to the requested effective date of live processing in the<br />

Corporation. In these cases, the Principal will be subject to a forms handling<br />

fee for each IRT and IDF document processed.<br />

The following requirements apply only to electronic functions performed by<br />

POI Terminals or Service Providers, and do not apply to manual functions<br />

performed at the POS:<br />

1. Transactions initiated with a Card may not be declined due to BIN/IIN<br />

validation by POI Terminals or Service Providers.<br />

2. Transactions initiated with a Card may not be declined by POI Terminals<br />

or Service Providers as a result of edits or validations performed on the<br />

following data elements:<br />

a. PAN length;<br />

b. expiration date;<br />

c. service code;<br />
