Programação & Caderno de Resumosliteratura inglesa na Universidade Federal de Sergipe”, relatedto the Research Group “History of the teaching of languages inBrazil” (UFS/CNPq), which intends to investigate the process ofinstitutionalization of the teaching of languages and their respectiveliteratures, as well as of their configuration as a school andacademic discipline, trying to delineate its pedagogical, politicaland cultural purposes in the education system of the country.Its objective is to investigate the way how the institutionalizationof English Literature became a privileged instrument in the processof affirmation of the national identity and cultural supremacy ofthe English people, analyzing the case of the textbook Adventuresin English Literature, by J. B. Priestley and Josephine Spear,and its account of the Elizabethan Age, which represents a goldenmoment of the history of England, not only because of its socioeconomicachievements but also because of its great culturaleffervescence. To attain that purpose, some theoretical backgroundtaken from literary theory (EAGLETON, 1996), literary history(WELLEK, 1979; JAUSS, 1994) and cultural history (ANDERSON,2008; RENAN, 2006; BHABHA, 2006) was used.Variantes diageracionais e diassexuais no léxico do AtlasLingüístico de São Francisco do Sul (ALSFS)Tânia Braga Guimarães (UEM)Nas pesquisas de descrição lingüística a adoção de dimensõesde linguagem, a diastrástica, a diassexual, e diageracional, alémda diatópica, permitem uma descrição mais acurada do falar deuma região.
