Tables 14.24.1 and 14.24.2 give the reported releases and transfers of solvent data for
the US pulp and paper industry. If not for the emissions of methanol and chloroform the industry
would be a much less serious polluter. It is 7th in VOC contributions and 8th in total
releases and transfers.
