15.2.2.5 Comparisons with other tests<br />

The Rhizobium test has been compared with other tests. This is done by finding values in the<br />

literature for various toxins using different tests and plotting the log <strong>of</strong> these values vs. the<br />

log <strong>of</strong> values from the second assay. A regression line was plotted and the correlation coefficient<br />

calculated from the regression coefficient (the correlation coefficient is the square root<br />

<strong>of</strong> the regression coefficient). In Figure 15.2.2.2, values for chemicals from two laboratories<br />
