Within each <strong>of</strong> these processing groups, the<br />

work should be sorted into light/medium/heavy<br />

weight, the best load combination consisting <strong>of</strong> items<br />

with the same or similar drying characteristics. It<br />

would be preferable, too, to differentiate roughly between<br />

light and dark colors.<br />

Heavily soiled or grease stained areas should be<br />

pre-treated by simple pre-spotting with LANADOL<br />

AVANT, using PRENETT A-B-C for special staining.<br />

Where non-color-fastness is suspected, a<br />

dye-fastness check (seam test) should be made with a<br />

damp white cotton cloth.<br />

After the relevant program is selected, the process<br />

runs fully automatically. The exact amount required<br />

<strong>of</strong> the special cleaning and fibre protection<br />

agent LANADOL AKTIV is added automatically at<br />

precisely the right time.<br />

A fibre protection agent, providing retexturing<br />

and antistatic finish for drying, is also added automatically.<br />

Following spin-drying, woollen textiles have a<br />

particularly low residual moisture content <strong>of</strong> about<br />

30%. After selection <strong>of</strong> the program suitable for the
