IDIS 901To program IDIS detectors see “Programming” at the end of this document.901 IDIS Module ConnectionsThe new 901 IDIS module has an improved capability for indicating faults. For example: a short to earth on the alarm or tamper circuits will now have nodirect effect on the IDIS bus line. The control panel can therefore localiseshort circuits to individual detectors.Note: On the old 901 module, the Red 12V connection was only required ifthe Brown output connection was being used. When using the new 901module always connect the Red lead to the +12V line of the IDIS bus (orremote power supply), as shown in the Figure below.Sig0V+12VPurpleBlackRedIDIS ModuleGreenWhiteYellowBlueBrownCC Tamper loopCC Alarm loopOpen CollectorOutputIDIS ExpanderCardSig0VTo otherIDIS units+12VNon-IDIS SensorIDIS Outputmax 25mA+-IDIS ModuleTamper loopAlarm loopFigure 2.
