OperationConnecting to Any PanelConnecting to Any PanelConnect the 7400 to other manufacturers control panels as follows (use 6core cable):1. Set the Tamp Select switches to ‘OFF’ (CC Tamp).2. Connect the ‘TAMP’ terminal connections in series with the Commonand Normally Closed relay terminals on the 7400, then connect to anytamper loop on the control panel.Figure 3. Connecting to Other Manufacturers Control Panels3. Power the 7400 from the control panel 12V Aux DC terminals. Connectthe +ve trig terminal on the 7400 to a positive going alarm output relayor a +ve trigger on the control panel, for example the 9058 Intruder wirelink (orange wire).4. Program the control panel as ‘System Reset’ = Customer.OperationIn alarm, the control panel triggers the 7400. The 7400 energises its relay,opening the contacts and causing a fault on the tamper circuit of the controlpanel. The contacts remain open until the user enters a valid reset code onthe 7400.4 of 6 496341 Issue 1
