734rUsing 734REUR-01 as a Test TransmitterIf necessary you can use the -01 version as a test transmitter for the 790rSignal Strength Meter.Insert the battery into the transmitter, fi t LK1, and clip the base into the cover.The transmitter will transmit a radio signal once every fi ve seconds. Fit LK3to make the Activity LED light on each transmission.For regulatory reasons the transmitter continues to operate for 20 minutesand then closes down. To reactivate the transmitter toggle the lid tamper.Note: When you have fi nished using the transmitter remove the battery. Thisprevents the transmitter interfering with any other wire-free system nearby,and reduces battery consumption. The transmitter indicates low battery byceasing to fl ash the Activity LED.If you wish to use the transmitter as a door contact, remove LK1.Testing.1. Put the control unit into engineer walk test.2. Trigger the transmitter.3. Make sure the panel receives the alarm.4. Chose another site for the transmitter if the panel does not receive thesignal.5.
