Hold the backplate in place against the wall and mark the position ofthe centre hole in the adjustable cam (item 2 in Figure 7).4. Drill and plug the hole, and screw the backplate to the wall throughthe adjustable cam. Do not tighten the screw completely home.5. Make sure the backplate is level. Mark, drill and plug at least twomore fixing holes (item 1 in Figure 7). Screw the backplate to the wallthrough the holes.6. Cut the plastic webs connecting the cam to the backplate.Note: If you do not cut the webs, the tamper switch will not operate in theevent of the complete keypad being forced off the wall.7. Attach the front cover of the keypad (containing the keypad PCB) ontothe backplate and make sure that the tamper switch operates.8.
