790rSingleDisplays the signal strength of a single Detectorlearned by the Monitor.BattDisplays the battery voltage in bargraph form. The display consists of ten LEDs in a vertical column. The upper seven LEDs(marked 3 to 9) are green and indicate an acceptable signal strength orbattery voltage. LED 2 (yellow) and LEDs 0 and 1 (red) indicate low signalstrength or an early warning of low transmitter battery voltage. When the left hand control switch is set at Single the display shows the peaksignal level by lighting one LED continuously. The display shows theinstantaneous signal level by flashing one or more LEDs rapidly. The displaylights a LED only when the Radio Strength Monitor detects a valid signal.Note that the display holds the peak level until the Radio Strength Monitor isswitched off, or until you turn the left hand control switch to any otherposition.OperationTest TransmitterTest TransmitterInsert the battery into the Transmitter, fit LK1, and clip the base into thecover. The Transmitter will transmit a radio signal once every five seconds.Fit LK3 to make the Activity LED light on each transmission. For regulatory reasons the Transmitter continues to operate for 20 minutesand then closes down. To reactivate the Transmitter toggle the lid tamper.Note: When you have finished using the Transmitter remove the battery. This prevents the Transmitter interfering with any other wire-free systemnearby, and reduces battery consumption. The transmitter indicates lowbattery by ceasing to flash the Activity LED.If you wish to use the Test Transmitter as a Door Contact, remove LK1.Radio Strength MonitorTo operate the Radio Strength Monitor it must be switched ON. To do thisturn the right hand control switch clockwise from the OFF position.Battery TestTurn the left hand control switch to the Batt Test position. The displayindicates the battery voltage in bargraph form for 10 seconds. If only theyellow and red LEDs (0 to 2) light then replace the battery.Single TransmitterTo display the signal strength from a single transmitter you must make the4 of 6 Issue 1
