Press Select repeatedly until the display shows the channel numberyou wish to use.The display shows, for example:C4The display flashes if there are no other devices on that channel. Thedisplay is steady if there are already devices on the channel. The768r/769r will not show a channel number if it has already learned themaximum number of devices to that channel.4. Press Set.The display shows C and the channel number (C4 in the example),followed by “D-" and then “S-" as the receiver scans for a newtransmitter.Note: If you are using Infra-Red learning then hold the transmitter’s activityLED within 25mm of the Infra-Red Learn sensor.5. Activate the tamper on PIR or door contact transmitters. For othertypes of transmitter activate a channel.The display shows the device number allocated to the transmitter. Ifyou are using radio learn the display alternates with the transmitter’ssignal strength, for example:D2 S7(If you are using Infra-red learn the display shows a signal strengthreading of zero.)Note:a) If the display shows "--" and your hear a low tone from the sounder, thenthe 768r/769r has already learned that transmitter.b) The signal strength measured with the case lid open is not accurate. Truesignal strength readings must be taken with the case lid closed (see"Test").6.
