7400IntroductionThe 7400 RRT (Remote Reset Terminal) is a universal stand alone keypadwhich can perform Remote ‘Engineer Reset’ on all Scantronic professionalrange control panels,or any other manufacturers control panel. The keypadhas soft tactile keys and shows system indication using LED indicators.Figure 1. Front Panel Layout and DetailsConnecting to a Scantronic Panel Using a 9056/9076-01/9576-01Note: This applies to the 9500 (V4.20 software), 9600, and 9800 (issued beforeJanuary 1993). 9800 systems supplied after Jan 93 have the remote resetfunction built in.For the remote reset function to operate correctly with the 9500 control panel,fit a 9578 Signalling Conversion Interface and plug on to it a 9056 Communicator,or a 9076-01 Interface board. As an alternative, plug a 9576-01 SignallingInterface directly on to the 9500 and use a stand alone communicationdevice.The 9800 and 9600 can use the 9056 communicator, or a 9076-01 interfaceboard connected to a stand alone communicator.1.
