MRNode5. The display updates the signal strength every time the MRNode receivesa transmission.Note that when the display shows a zone number then MRNode will ignoreall other zones and PA/telecommands.Jamming and Supervision DetectionThe MRNode is capable of detecting certain faults with the radio transmittersand reporting them to the alarm system control unit:JammingWith jamming response enabled (link fi tted to both jumper pins) within thecontrol unit the MRNode will report a fault to the control unit if it detectsjamming. A jamming signal is any radio noise on the same frequency as thetransmitters that is strong enough to swamp the signal from the transmittersfor a minimum of 30 seconds within one minute.SupervisionWith supervision enabled (link fi tted to both jumper pins) the MRNode willreport a detector as faulty if it does not receive any transmission from thattransmitter for more than the programmed time. The MRNode does not usesupervision for pendants, PAs or telecommands. Note that you must alsoenable the supervisory function at the control unit, see MRNode CommissioningInstructions.Detector Low BatteryIf a transmitter sends a low battery signal then the MRNode reports this tothe control unit.10 of 10
