770rInput connections (optional)If you wish the Module to indicate the fi rst detector to alarm, you must alsoconnect two outputs from the control unit to the inputs of the Module.Input 1 signals the setting state of the control unit. When the control unitactivates input 1 then the Module clears its log and starts recording the sequenceof signals from the detectors. When the control unit deactivates thisinput then the Module fl ashes the LED of the fi rst channel to be activated, and makes any other channel activated glow continuously. When using open collector outputs to drive input 1 make sure that thedipswitches 6 and 7 are set to normally open and latched.Input 2 controls the Walk Test mode. When the control unit activates input 2then the Module waits for each detector to send a signal. When the Modulereceives a signal if lights the appropriate LED and sounds a “double beep”confi rmation tone. In addition the Module turns the corresponding output on.The LEDs stay on until the control unit deactivates input 2.In the example shown, program output 1 as Armed Lamp, and output 2 andWalk Test.Note that the Module will not go into Walk Test if the control unit is activatinginput 1.TestingMake sure the control unit is disarmed, then enter programming mode.Use command 97 to start a walk test.Trigger the radio detectors. The Module display indicates the active detectors. The control unit keypadindicates the active zones.Take the control unit out of walk test. The Module display should go dark.Issue 1 29 of 30
