various ancient copies of this tract, one of
which, edited by ]\Ir. Whitley Stokes, has

Historian to the O'Dowds of Tir-Fiacrach,
slain in the year 1670. The references are
principally to his Glossary, preserved in the
Library of Trinity College.
Death of Muircertach Mac Erca. A wild and
romantic tale preserved in the MS. vol., II. 2,
16, Trinity College, Dublin.
JJinnsenchus. ie. History of Noted Places, a
tract of which copies are preserved in the
Books of Leiuster, Lecan, and Ballymote, and
in other ancient manuscripts.
Donogh Roe McNamara. A humorous Irish
