4. Choose the track saving options, Recording accuracy and the Track line.<br />

5. Click on the Misc tab.<br />

6. Choose the options you wish to display (security circle, directional vectors,....).<br />

Note: repeat this procedure for each one of the connected positioning systems (using the pop-up menu Other<br />

system located in the Positioning system in the upper part of the dialog box) in order to set up all of<br />

them.<br />

Track Profile<br />

With the <strong>MaxSea</strong> Professional <strong>version</strong>, measurements from different sensors (depth, water temperature, etc.) can be<br />

recorded for each point of the track .<br />

When a sounder is connected to <strong>MaxSea</strong>, the measurement from the sounder is recorded for each point of the track.<br />

<strong>MaxSea</strong> can thus be used to display the bottom profile or the profile of one of the connected sensors (water<br />

temperature, etc.).<br />

Toggle the Depth Profile Window On<br />

• Click on the Chart Desktop Mode on the Toolbar<br />

• Choose to display the Depth Profile window in a chosen mode<br />

The Depth Profile window consist in two parts, the toolbar and its graphical view.<br />

You can display either the profile associated to a previously saved old track, or display the profile of the track which is<br />

being recorded.<br />

Editing a track<br />

IMPORTANT<br />

This function is not used when the tracking on function is in use.<br />

To modify Edit track parameters<br />

1. Select an old track using the select point tool<br />

2. Go to the [Edit] menu and choose [Edit track]<br />

The Edit track dialog box appears<br />

To modify a characteristic of the track, check box according to what you want to change between:<br />

1. The line width
