Now add 2 rows and add additional wind angles.<br />

Enter wind angles approximately every 30 degrees. Note that you should add additional rows or columns; for example,<br />

you add rows in increments of 15 degrees or less and columns in increments of 5 or less.<br />

After you have defined the first line and first column, enter the data in the cells according to the polar graphs or tables<br />

provided by the boat manufacturer.<br />

When finished, select the menu “For the Polar” and choose “Save as Polar.”<br />

Name the Polar file and press “Save.” The new Polar file will be created in the “My Documents” folder.<br />

Open <strong>MaxSea</strong>, and choose [File] and [Open.] Open the Polar file you just created.<br />

If you have the Performance Module of <strong>MaxSea</strong>, choose “Performance;” and then, “Polar Curves Center.”<br />
