3. Type in your text (64 characters maximum) and click OK. The entered text is displayed on the chart at the<br />

position clicked.<br />

If you want to change the font and the characteristics: Option: Text<br />

Mark properties<br />

Double left-click on a mark using the Select point tool opens the information window.<br />

To update parameters which are associated to a point, click on any of one of these elements.<br />

The "Mark properties" dialog box contains:<br />

1. available datum information in upper right-hand corner.<br />

2. the Latitude value (Data zone).<br />

3. the Longitude value (Data zone).<br />

4. symbol associated to a mark.<br />

5. symbol color associated to a mark.<br />

6. name associated to a mark.<br />

7. created date/ hour associated to a mark..<br />

8. mark depth value associated to a mark.<br />

9. mark comments associated to a mark.<br />

Several data fields are directly modified in the "Mark properties" dialog box.<br />

1. to change the symbol color; left-click and hold down the mouse button to bring up the color palette and<br />

then choose a color among it.<br />

2. to change the symbol left-click and hold down the mouse button to bring up the palette and then choose<br />

a new symbol among it.<br />

3. to update a text zone (name and comments): left-click in the text field zone and enter directly the text<br />

using the keyboard.<br />

4. to update a data zone (date/hour and latitude/longitude): left-click in the data zone at this moment a scroll<br />

appears in order to allow a seizure without the assistance of the keyboard.<br />

5. to validate the update click on OK.<br />

6. to close the information window, click the closing box located in the left-hand part of the title bar of the<br />

window or click on cancel. In these two cases the modifications are not taken in account.<br />
