The Status allows the user to know which of his charts are available, and if not, what is the type of problem.<br />

List of available statuses, that can happen:<br />

1. OK : when all is okay<br />

2. Chart File Not Found: when a part of a chart is lost (".kap" file for instance) or the chart was not found in the<br />

place where it was saved. To solve your problem you can click on Manage, select and open again the file.<br />

Problem may occur when removing the CD ROM during the use or the network fails during recording charts or<br />

charts are recorded on your PC but the folder has been removed or moved to another place.<br />

3. Encrypted File Not Found: when Maptech v4 permits are lost.<br />

To sort content in the table depending on your choice:<br />

Double-click in a chosen cell header will increase or decrease column content depending on the selected data type<br />

(numeric or alpha numeric). For example, Double-click in "Manufacturer" cell header to display all charts which belong to<br />

Maptech.<br />

To directly access a chart selected in the catalog:<br />

1. Select a line in the table<br />

2. Click " Center on the chart ", the window simultaneously displays the chart which you have just selected.<br />

Click "Manage" to access the management of your charts which are in your ownership. in instance to reopen charts or to<br />

validate the Chart Catalog.<br />

To delete a chart under the catalog list<br />

For example when the chart status indicates "Chart File Corrupted", you can select it and click Delete to delete it.<br />

To close the catalog, click on "OK", it is Simultaneously updated if you have modified the catalog.<br />

Vector charts<br />

The vector charts are Images defined by sets of straight lines that are defined by the locations of the end-points. Vector<br />

graphics require much less storage space than raster or bitmapped graphics.<br />

Each Vector charts are opened in the same seamless window and Chart information drop-down menu list depends on<br />

selected vector chart.<br />

In following example CMap NT and CMap CM93 v3 charts are opened together in the same vector chart window:<br />

The Chart Zone Information lists all available charts and allows you to switch between them for displaying on screen<br />

the chart that you want to see. In our example CMap NT is selected and actually displayed in the Chart Window and<br />

Vector CMap CM93 v3 is also opened.<br />
