Using the Select point tool double click on a target to display the information window for this target, which shows the<br />

parameters received.<br />

Various information from target :<br />

• Position,<br />

• Speed,<br />

• Heading,<br />

• TCPA,<br />

• etc…<br />

are displayed and updated in real time.<br />

You can modify the name of the target and add a comment.<br />

Activating The Target tracking box is used to start and stop the display and recording of the target track , exactly as<br />

explained in your own ship.<br />

IMPORTANT<br />

The tracks of all the radar targets are recorded in the same file, created by default by the software but which you can<br />

modify .<br />

Note: click New file to select a layer, other than the default one, on which you will record the track of all the<br />

targets.<br />

<strong>MaxSea</strong> AIS MKD Settings Dialog Box<br />

Targets<br />

<strong>MaxSea</strong> setup ship static data in AIS. User can store several configurations of its static data. Ship type, Navigation status,<br />

draught, persons, destination, ETA, antenna position, ship name, call sign can be setup.<br />

To activate the AIS MKD settings dialog box:<br />

Either go to the [Targets] menu and choose [AIS MKD] or direct access by using the keyboard shortcuts<br />

(Ctrl + M)<br />

This dialog box consists in three parts:<br />
