There are several ways to use Radar with your <strong>MaxSea</strong> including radar overlay.<br />

You can display several windows and choose one of them to show your radar overlay. Radar overlay<br />

is when the radar image is viewed on the top of the chart.<br />

When First running <strong>MaxSea</strong> the Radar overlay button is turning on by default: and the<br />

Radar overlay palette settings appears in the chart toolbar.<br />

If the Radar is power off or the , the "No Radar Source" warning will appear on the chart.<br />

To display the radar overlay on the chart :<br />

• Click the "Radar Overlay" information button in the chart toolbar to toggle Radar display<br />

on/off :<br />

• Click the down arrow to its right will show the drop down list of available Radar display:<br />

1. Choose Trails to display moving historic (second trace echo).<br />

2. Choose Rings to display them on the chart.<br />

If the Radar unit is turned on and is properly connected to the computer. The Radar image provides<br />

on the opened chart is automatically displayed in the radar operating area as shown below:
