Note: in most cases you don’t have to change the parameters.<br />

When you choose the data to be imported:<br />

• If the imported parameters need to be adjusted you can preview directly the result by selecting the Test<br />

button. Select Undo to erase the configuration if it’s wrong.<br />

• Then select the Import button to add directly data in the database.<br />

How to configure an Area Data Import<br />

• Before selecting a zone check the Geographic rectangle radio button.<br />

By default World box is checked<br />

(all depth data will be imported)<br />

The Geographic rectangle<br />

checked allows you to define the<br />

geographic zone for which you<br />

want to import data. This function<br />

is available for C –Map chart,<br />

ASCII file and user data and not<br />

available for Mapmedia 3D data<br />

chart and world data.<br />

• Define a zone on the chart using the Arrow tool, the data coordinate will be automatically updated.<br />

Note: By default the geographic zone corresponds to the window displayed at the time of the data import.<br />
