Electronic Charts<br />

3. Chart File Not Found: the chart was not found in the place where it was saved. The chart was found on the<br />

CD, but the CD was removed or the chart recorded on the network, but the network was disconnected. The<br />

chart was recorded on the hard disk, but the user deleted or moved it.<br />

4. Chart File Corrupted: the .mm2 file is damaged. It cannot be read by <strong>MaxSea</strong>, or does not answer to the .mm2<br />

format.<br />

5. Chart Not Opened the chart was correctly installed and was found but it is not currently opened in <strong>MaxSea</strong>.<br />

To sort content in the table depending on your choice:<br />

Double-click in a chosen cell header will increase or decrease column content depending on the selected data type<br />

(numeric or alpha numeric). For example, Double-click in "Manufacturer" cell header to display all charts which belong to<br />

Mapmedia.<br />

To directly access a chart selected in the catalog:<br />

1. Select a line in the table<br />

2. Click " Center on the chart ", the window simultaneously displays the chart which you have just selected.<br />

Click "Manage" to access the management of mm2 Mapmedia charts which are in your ownership. in instance to reopen<br />

charts or to validate the Chart Catalog.<br />

To delete a chart under the catalog list<br />

For example when the chart status indicates "Chart File Corrupted", you can delete it by selecting the line and clicking on<br />

Delete.<br />

To close the catalog, click on "OK", it is Simultaneously updated if you have modified the catalog.<br />

Properties of Mapmedia mm2 charts<br />

To display the information concerning the mm2 cartography (option Mapmedia mm2 in the chart information zone of<br />

charts being selected):<br />

1 - Use the Toolbar<br />

1. Click the tool Hand in the Toolbar to select it<br />

2. Double-click on the chart in the active window.<br />

3. The window " Chart Properties " appears.<br />

2 - Use the pop-up menu<br />

1. Click anywhere on the chart with the right button of the mouse to enable the pop-up menu.<br />

2. Position the cursor on the option " Chart properties " And click to display the window.<br />

3 - The window " Chart Properties ":<br />

The dialog details various information available for the chart displayed in the clicked point.<br />

1. Title of the chart<br />

2. Hydrographic service<br />

3. Chart Number identification of the chart<br />
