GPS on the chart<br />

• Enter directly (or using the virtual keyboard), a distance value in the XTE zone area (by default this value is<br />

equal to 0,5Nm)<br />

When you will activate the route the XTE limits are drawn on the chart as it is shown in following example. note that the<br />

XTE limits are not drawn when the route is a planning route.<br />

When you activate the Display XTE, the Security XTE area is delimited with two dotted lines, green and red, on each<br />

side of the active route .<br />

For example following picture shows a XTE value equal to 0,8Nm chosen for the Leg between route points number 2 and<br />

3.<br />

Man Overboard<br />

The "Man Overboard" function ( MOB ) is a necessity. It can be a useful tool when placing luminous buoys on the<br />

water, monitoring floating objects in the water, etc.).<br />

Select the buoy icon from the Toolbar..<br />

The following warning applies:<br />

Once this warning is acknowledged, the software passes immediately into Man Overboard mode:<br />

• The MOB and the Track ON/OFF buttons are both activated in the Toolbar as it is shown with number (1)<br />

in the following picture.<br />

• The chart is displayed in Centered ship mode at a detailed scale (1/2 500) as it is shown in following<br />

picture number (2).<br />
