Selecting objects<br />

The Select tool is used to select points and/or objects (lines, areas) in order to apply modifications such as removing or<br />

modifying the position (see paragraphs above).<br />

Using the Select point tool click a point ( Waypoint , mark, etc.) to select it (it is highlighted).<br />

Note:<br />

(1) - You can make multiple selections by holding the Shift key down while you click points or objects using the<br />

Select point.<br />

(2) - unselected all of the points by clicking the chart away from the points using the Select point or click these<br />

tools in the Toolbar.<br />

Selecting a region<br />

Using the Select tool, choose either the Rectangle or the Lasso option and click and drag around the region to be<br />

selected. When you release the mouse button, all the points located in the region that you have covered are selected<br />

(waypoints, personal marks, track points, etc.). They are highlighted.<br />

This option can be useful when you want to copy all plotting data from the active layer to another layer.<br />

Selecting a type of object<br />

1. Go to the [Edit] menu, choose [Select ...].<br />

2. Choose the type of object as well as the characteristics (color, etc.) that you wish to look for, then click OK.<br />

All the objects displayed which meet search criteria are selected. You can then apply a modification.<br />

Note: To modify the drawing selection color refer to related topic "Option: display"<br />

Transforming objects<br />

You can modify display parameters or the type of object that you have already saved. For example, you may modify a<br />

certain type of icon, transform isolated points into a line, etc.
