MaxSea Operator Manual version 12.6 3D View Settings In order to get a better display in the 3D window you can: 284 1. reach directly to the 3D configuration by selecting the button situated at the bottom of the window 3D view. 2. configure the contrast of the 3D view by selecting the contrast button at the bottom of the window 3D view.. 3. configure the position of the 3D view with regard to the boat position by selecting the camera button at the bottom of the window 3D view. Optimizing 3D View Display To obtain the best 3D velocity and graphic details, refer to MaxSea' choice for Hardware Requirements.
Note : the 3D window is in "hardware" mode if it’s possible for it to use the 3D card. Otherwise, the 3D window is in "software" mode that is to say that all the 3D graphics are calculated by the software, without the help of the 3D hardware. : "Software" mode : "Hardware" mode. If there is no 3D graphic card on your computer, the mode stays in "Software" mode . If the 3D graphic card on your computer has only 4Mo RAM, the mode stays in "Software" mode. If your computer is very powerful you can optimize the 3D chart details and display speed. To do so, refer to the PBG chapter. 3D View 285
