Import depth value upon the fishing area from the grid files:<br />

• Check D.E.M. box (Digital Elevation Model)<br />

• Click Add files to select 3D data files<br />

• An "Open file" dialog box appears that allows you to select the file you wish to import.<br />

Import depth value upon the fishing area from the Cmap93Ed2 CDs, :<br />

• Select [Open chart…] from [File] menu (the CMAP chart must be open before the import)<br />

• Check the "C-Map" box to select the chart from the CD.<br />

Import the "User data" in the 3D database <strong>version</strong> 8:<br />

• Check the "User Data" box<br />

• Click on the "Choose database folder" button to import old user data from an exiting database.<br />

IMPORTANT<br />

Be careful when using this feature.<br />

This method can be used ONLY if the user has not imported DEM data (in such a case the accuracy could be<br />

significantly decreased).<br />

All data is imported with the old parameters (you can't, for example, modify Tide parameters).<br />

Only <strong>version</strong> 8 User Data from fishing plan or from a PBG tracking file can be exported and included in the 3D<br />

database.<br />

Import "User data"<br />

To import depth information from User data :<br />

Check "User data (*.ptf)",<br />

Click the "Add files" button and the Windows Open file dialog will appear.<br />

Search and select a "PTF" file you wish to open.
