Display AIS Targets Properties MaxSea displays automatically the AIS symbol target on the chart for all the vessels tracked by the connected AIS system. Displaying AIS target properties
Using the Select point tool double click on a target to display the information window for this target, which shows the parameters received. Various information from target : • Position, • Speed, • Heading, • TCPA, • etc… are displayed and updated in real time. Activating The Target tracking box is used to start and stop the display and recording of the target track , exactly as explained in your own ship. IMPORTANT The tracks of all the radar targets are recorded in the same file, created by default by the software but which you can modify . Note: click New file to select a layer, other than the default one, on which you will record the track of all the targets. MaxSea AIS MKD Settings Dialog Box Targets MaxSea setup ship static data in AIS. User can store several configurations of its static data. Ship type, Navigation status, draught, persons, destination, ETA, antenna position, ship name, call sign can be setup. To activate the AIS MKD settings dialog box: Either go to the [Targets] menu and choose [AIS MKD] or direct access by using the keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + M) This dialog box consists in three parts: Header part 367
