To adjusts the gain sensitivity of the radar receiver:<br />

1. Click on the Gain Status line to display the Pop-up menu<br />

2. Choose Low, Medium, or High as appropriate Gain Status Automatic or<br />

<strong>Manual</strong> to adjust it manually.<br />

3. Press [ENTER] to validate.<br />

The proper setting is such that the background noise is just visible on the<br />

screen. If your gain setting is too low, weak echoes may be missed. On the<br />

other hand,excessive gain yields too much background noise; strong targets<br />

may be missed because of the poor contrast between desired echoes and<br />

the background noise on the display.<br />

Gain Level % 0-100 To adjust the Gain value when working with <strong>Manual</strong> Gain Status:<br />

1. Click on the Gain line to display the Pop-up menu<br />

2. Adjust the range from 0 to 100% using arrows or modify it directly by<br />

entering the desired percentage value<br />

3. Press [ENTER] to validate.<br />

To adjusts the AC Sea Status of the radar receiver:<br />

1. Click on the AC Sea Status line to display the Pop-up menu<br />

2. Choose a range according to the sea state ROUGH, RATE,CALM, as<br />

appropriate or manual MODE to adjust it manually<br />

3. Press [ENTER] to validate.<br />
