Note: to change the presentation of this palette (in the horizontal or the vertical sense) click on the button
situated in the right hand corner of the menu bar; hold down the Shift key while clicking on this button to
swap between horizontal and vertical layout.
Wind sensor
Modify the wind sensor
Lay-lines can be displayed even if you have no compass using a wind sensor, or enter a value manually.
To define Wind sensor data parameters you have to activate the new menu
[Modify wind sensor] from [Performance]
The following dialog appears:
Choose:
Sensor Wind
To use receive data from Wind Sensor
Constant Wind
To enter manually a constant value for Speed and Direction.
Change Constant wind value
To change one value you can either:
1. Directly enter values using numeric Keyboard
2. Or click on the corresponding button for using the "Virtual keyboard"
The "virtual keyboard" contains three parts:
1. Part 1 where you can reset number by clicking on DEL, select the first number by clicking on HOME,
select the last number by clicking on END and to select the previous number by clicking on BACK.
2. Part 2 is dedicated to navigational arrows (left, right, up and down).
3. Part 3 click on each number for typing the number value. Click on the Entered arrow before quitting.
