Dredge Function<br />

Dredge Function Overview<br />

- Following documentation is dedicated to <strong>MaxSea</strong> configured with Dredge option.<br />

<strong>MaxSea</strong> is able to receive values sent by dredge sensor relative to the different states of the dredge, 0 for inactive dredge,<br />

1 for active dredge or 2 for hanging dredge.<br />

These states are displayed in the data window in the field Quality.<br />

Cable Diagram Connection<br />

ground to pin 5 of the RS232 standard<br />

output TTL 0/5 V to 8 (CTS) of the RS232 standard<br />

Serial Port Cable Diagram:<br />

DCD - Data Carrier Detect<br />

DSR - Data Set Ready<br />

RD - Receive Data<br />

RTS - Request To Send<br />

TD - Transmit Data<br />

CTS - Clear To Send [ 0 ou 5 volts]<br />
