Logbook<br />

The archived logbook is then displayed on the chart together with the current logbook when the function<br />

Display active logbook on chart is activated (refer to the previous paragraph Displaying logbooks on chart<br />

).If this function is not selected the archived logbook is only displayed on the chart.<br />

Note: only one archived logbook may be opened at any one time.<br />

Importing previous logbook<br />

To import a logbook from a previous <strong>MaxSea</strong> <strong>version</strong> (under <strong>version</strong> 9) to this <strong>MaxSea</strong>'s <strong>version</strong>,<br />

select [open logbook file] from the [logbook] menu and the archived logbook window appears.<br />

Click on the "Import old logbooks (*.log)" button.<br />

Browse all the files of the computer and select one or several logbooks to be imported.<br />

If the import succeeds, you will see them in your list of your archived logbooks.<br />

If an error message indicates that the date format is not compatible with your Windows<br />

environment, follow the procedure below:<br />

Define the date format of the logbook file to be imported. , you should open the file ( *.lgb) with a<br />

text editor (like notepad). Note the format of the date and the hour.(2001-11-29 => aaaa-mm-jj<br />

29/11/01 => jj/mm/aa 12:52:23 =>hh:mm:ss 12-52-23 => hh-mm-ss)<br />
