IMPORTANT<br />

Note : the Target Center Window allows you to quickly sort the table using CPA or TCPA attributes.<br />

It is a particularly powerful function for ensuring safety but, of course, considers that the two ships are<br />

traveling at constant speeds and headings.<br />

CPA Warning<br />

You can activate the Target CPA Warning under the "Option: Radar..." dialog box.<br />

Security circle<br />

You can draw around the boat position a security circle. As soon as a target is<br />

considered as a danger for the boat when the CPA distance is smaller than the<br />

security circle radius then its Icon changes (Red triangle) showing that it is closer to<br />

your boat.<br />

To define the security circle :<br />

1. Select [Option: GPS/Track... ] from the [Utilities] menu<br />

2. First select a target in the list on which you want to apply settings.<br />

3. Then select MISC tab to apply settings.<br />

Misc tab / Security circle<br />

1. check "Display" to show it on chart.<br />

2. enter a value in Size input text to define a circle distance.<br />

Option: Monitoring Zone...<br />

Targets<br />

Users can create as many monitoring zone areas as they want. At first you must draw on the chart all areas you want to<br />

define as monitoring zones. Then save them in a specific PTF, this is important because you will have to call it for<br />

configuring Monitoring zone options.<br />

Note that This option is only used for ARPA and AIS information incoming from system unit connected to <strong>MaxSea</strong>.<br />

To set up Monitoring zone ...choose [Option: Monitoring zone ...] from [Targets] menu and a dialog box appears on<br />

screen and allows you to enter parameters according to your choice, this dialog box consists in three parts:<br />
