MaxSea Operator Manual version 12.6 Show/Hide 2D Bathymetric Data on the Chart Use the button to show / hide the 2D bathymetric data displayed on the chart and find quickly where data are localized. 232 1. Before selecting the button you have to configure parameters for choosing which data you want to display. (see MaxSea options chapter to display the details of your data import) 2. The "Use data type" displayed on chart, depends on which options you have selected. Example : Display all Use data type Display only DEM data Display only Vector chart data
IMPORTANT Display only User data 2D Bathymetric Maps If occasional problems may occur when displaying the bathymetric data on the chart, an up-todate list of common display problems can be found in the Troubleshooting section. Note: if you forget to select the Use DataType button, the data will not be displayed. 2D Display Configuration Depth choice Automatically Manually Min = Minimum depth Max = Maximum depth Step = Distance in meters between 2 isobathes. The Auto Config button automatically applies optimal display parameters based on the current chart data. Use this button to get an instant 2D view relevant to your current screen display. It is then easy to manually adjust the display to your own preferences. For example, if you navigate between 10 and 500 meters, you may wish to view isobathes every 20 meters. You can use the values suggested in the pop-up or adjust them directly. 233
