ARPA NMEA sentences : Target position, cursor, Sounder NMEA sentences : Depth Echo : Sounder echo Echo : Radar echo Note : All radars require a heading alignment upon installation of the radar antenna. MaxSea NavNet Data Transfer Data such as Routes and Waypoints can be transferred to and from the Navnet. 1. Configuring MaxSea GPS Upload/Download 2. Upload to NavNet 3. Download from NavNet 4. Quick Route Configuring MaxSea GPS Upload/Download 1. Select [GPS Upload / Download] from the [Route] menu 2. Choose [Configuration...] to call up the dialog box which lets you to choose GPS protocols. 3. Select NavNet 4. Click Next to continue. 5. Enter the source name from which you will transfer data. (for example PLOTTER etc...) 6. Click Next 7. Parameters report is displayed confirming settings. 8. Click on Finish, Either if parameters are correct or Back to modify them and Cancel to quit. Upload to NavNet
WARNING : NavNet system You have to do twice the manipulation. You will be warned when the software is ready for data transmitting , at this moment precisely you can configure your NavNet in the receiving mode but you can also cancel depending to your choice. All the data existing in the NavNet memory will be deleted ! On MaxSea-NavNet After configuring your GPS data transfer you can access to this function by : 1. Choosing [Upload to GPS] from the [GPS Upload/Download] of the [Route] menu. 2. Check the data that you wish upload. A dialog box is displayed and proposes a check boxes list Waypoints Routes Marks 3. Click OK to validate 4. MaxSea will propose you to validate GPS ID 5. An animation is displayed on screen when the software is ready for data transmitting On NavNet Note: Before transmitting MaxSea will ask you to verify the DATA Format for each new or never transmitted Waypoints or Routes. FID Name GPS ID Software ID#1 Object User Name#1 Navnet identifier#1 Software ID#2 Object User Name#2 Navnet identifier#2 You can then validate or modify the GPS ID according to the NavNet Protocol Configure your system to Receive Data Via Network Equipment: (RECEIVE DATA VIA NETWORK) 1. Select your MaxSea-NavNet HOST NAME, example MAXSEA 2. Check the data that you wish to download, MARKS & LINES and/or WAYPOINTS & ROUTES by switching ON or OFF as appropriate.
